Manual Exfoliation Treatments

As our skin ages, the natural exfoliation process (older skin cells flaking off and being replaced by younger cells) begins to slow down. This, along with environmental damage, is why mature skin doesn't look as fresh and bright as a child's skin. It is possible, however, to "turn back the clock."

Microdermabrasion is a form of mechanical exfoliation that speeds up the natural cell turnover process. It is extremely beneficial in both achieving and maintaining clear, healthy, youthful-looking skin.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion utilizes crystals to gently resurface superficial layers of the skin. When a more aggressive treatment is necessary, vacuum pressure can be increased to evenly penetrate deeper layers of the skin. Microdermabrasion is great for minimizing the appearance of scarring, fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation problems, uneven skin tones, dull, lifeless and sun-damaged skin.

Microderm Peel

This double exfoliation treatment will more aggressively rejuvenate the surface of the skin, as well as work deeper in the skin to smooth out acne scars, resurface the texture of the skin, minimize skin discoloration, and soften fine lines and wrinkles. A microdermabrasion treatment is performed, followed by a light chemical peel (Glycolic Acid or Lactic Acid) to take your skin to the next level.

Dermaplaning

A manual exfoliation technique used to clear away dry, dead, superficial skin layers, as well as fine, vellus hair. It increases the rate of absorption of skin care products. Can be done as a stand-alone treatment or before any chemical peel.
